Jorge Yetano

Director

Jorge is a cinematographer and director with more than 15 years of experience in documentary and TV.
Having studied Contemporary History in the University of Zaragoza, in 2004 he graduated from the Zelig School for Documentary in Bolzano, Italy. Since then he has worked in Italy, Germany and Spain. In more recent years he has worked intensely in the Middle East as an independent director and DOP for a range of independent production companies and broadcasters.

Although Jorge has directed TV documentaries (“Palestine Inside”, 2012, 12×26 min, and “Everything is Possible”, 2013, 52 min) From the Shore is his first independent documentary as a director and producer.

Miguel Yetano

Producer

Miguel studied law in the University of Zaragoza, where he graduated in 1998, and business management at ESCP Europe in Paris (MEB 2000-2001). After developing a broad international business background, in 2009 he started working in audiovisual production with the goal of setting up an independent documentary production company. He has completed a specialisation course on audiovisual distribution, video-on-demand and new business models at UOC University (Posgrado de Distribución Audiovisual: VOD y nuevos modelos de negocio, UOC, 2014).

From the Shore is his first project as producer.  The project was selected to participate in the StoryDoc documentary project development workshop in 2011, and was one of 3 projects selected in the Rough Cut Screening Sessions section at Docs Barcelona 2014.

Sonsoles Galindo

Director’s assistant

Bachelor in Journalism (1999) and with a masters degree in Creative Documentary (Universitat Pomeu Fabra, 2010-11), she currently works as director’s assistant at the public broadcasting in Spain, Televisión Española, TVE. Coordinator and assistant at “25%”, winner project for the Catalan Pavilion at the Venice Biennal for Visual Arts, 2013, curated by Jordi Balló and developed by visual artist Francesc Torres and filmmaker Mercedes Álvarez.

Production assistant
in the shooting of the multiple awards winning film “La Plaga/The Plague” (Neus Ballús, 2013), she has worked in different aspects of creative documentary such as project development, finance seeking and promotion and advertising at Estudi Playtime (premiere in Barcelona of “Cuchillo de Palo”, Renate Costa; “N-VI”, Pela del Álamo, etc).

She has also been assistant to Mercedes Álvarez in a documentary seminar and been part of the crew of creative documentary artists residences in Açores (Portugal) and Tui (Galicia, Spain).

Milena Holzknecht

Editor

After completing studies in Sociology, psychology and criminology, Milena studied at the Zelig school for documentary in Bolzano, Italy, specializing in editing and postproduction.

Her filmography as editor includes award winning films like “Unfinished Italy” (2010, winner at Documenta Madrid 2011), “Auschwitz is my teacher” (Winner of A Film for Peace Festival 2011) or “Des livres et des nuages” (2013, Genziana d’argento, Trento Film Festival 2013, Prix du Public National Geographic – Festival d’Autrans 2013). Among her last works are ‘Pixner’s Backstage’, TV series, Ammira Film for Servus TV, february 2015 and ‘Im Bann der Jahreszeiten’, documentary series, Gebrüder Beetz for MDR, SWR, NDR, Arte, 2014.

Guillermo Mata 

music and composer

Musician and composer with an extensive career. He was a member of legendary bands from Zaragoza like Los Berzas or Los Gandules. His latest musical project is Kleejoss Band. Guillermo is also a producer and composer, he has composed music for fiction films like “Una de Zombies” and “Tensión sexual no Resuelta”.
